This morning in Ermelo, The Netherlands, six stallions were presented in the second ridden presentation of the KWPN stallions that were appointed in 2012. Five of them were selected to do the performance test this Spring. It concerns two 4-year-old show-jumping stallions and three 4-year-old dressage stallions.
The stallion licensing procedure was prematurely terminated for show-jumping stallion Eto B (Toulon x Burggraaf x Orlof). The other two show-jumpers will start their test on 26 March. It concerns the champion at last year’s Stallion Show, Elion V (Applaus x Goodtimes x Vasco) and the well bred Very Well Semilly (Mylord Carthago x Le Tot de Semilly x St Brendan xx).
The three dressage stallions that were presented today, will also start their test 26 March. These are Eastwood S (Ampère x Juventus x Michelangelo), Elton Sollenburg (Ampère x Fidermark x Inspekteur) and Escobedo (Vivaldi x Havidoff x Roemer). Stallion El Paso (Excellent) (Wynton x Flemmingh x Cabochon) was presented at the first ridden presentation, but today he was absent. This implies that the licensing procedure has now officially been ended for this stallion.
