The 5-year-old jumping stallions that participate in the Katrinelund Young horse jumping championship has been under the judges scrutiny for the first time today. There were promising jumping talent in hall B
The start list contains 25 horses qualified and ready for Katrinelund Young horse championsships. The championship is settled after three rounds, two with their own rider and in the third and final round it is time for test riding. This year it is Norwegian top rider Stein Endresen that have received the honour to assess the youngsters.
Judges in the first two rounds are Bo K.Møller and Bo Kristoffersen, they started the session by pointing out how difficult the arena in Herning is for the young horses. This will impact on the scores given in the first and second round,
Today Carmargue-daughter Cambodia was the horse handling the task best of all 25 horse. The grey mare, bred by Henrik Hansen was shown by Louise Søgaard and received the scores 9 for jumping technique, nine for canter, 8 for ride-ability and 9 for capacity. Runner-up after one round is Camillo Ask by Carson Ask, bred by Stud Ask and ridden by Søren Møller Nielsen. Another Carmargue-offspring Dior is third, bred by Svend Ove Jensen and and ridden by Bjarne Mark.
