Victories for Hester and Högberg in Vidauban

Carl Hester and Dances With Wolves won the Grand Prix for Special at the Vidauban Spring Tour CDI3* at a higher score than their Grand Prix debut in the tour last week. The British Olympic team gold medalist and the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding by Donnerschwee scored 72.8% with Finland’s Emma Kanerva and Sini Spirit second on 70.8% Belgium’s Claudia Fassaert and Donnerfee were third on 69.9%.

In the other Grand Prix class (for Freestyle) Swedish rider Jeanna Högberg aboard Liza Minelli (Cortez x Ganesco) took the victory. Her team mate Mads Hendeliowitz and Weihenstephaner became second, while Carl Hester and his other horse, the Westphalian stallion Fine Time (by Florestan I), became third.
