Katrinelund Youngster Championship in jumping found its winner in Carmargue-daughter Cambodia that has been in the lead since the first round. Already in the first round the mare made a a real difference towards the competition by receiving four 9s from the two judges Bo Kristoffersen and Bo K. Møller. Cambodia placed a firm grip on the lead in the in the second round with Louise Søgaard and got 9.5 for capacity from the two judges. They described the mare as having massive capacity and an especially good and adjustable canter. The Norwegian test rider Stein Endresen was enthusiastic as he gave her a 9 for capacity and a 7 for ride-ability. Cambodia finished with 852.5 point.
Runner-up was another Carmargue-offspring, the gelding Dior ridden by Bjarne Mark. Dior was one of the horses that received most points from test rider Stein Endresen. He gave the impressive gelding a 9 for ride-ability and 8.5 for capacity. Dior scored 846.3 points in total.
Third in line was Gold medal mare Bøgegårdens Quintana by Bøgegårdens Quidam with rider Jesper Meyenburg. Quintana was best jumper mare as a 3-year-old and was one of the horses in front after two rounds with her own rider. The round that took her to the pedestal was really good scores from the test riding. Stein Endresen held her as one of the absolute best horses in the competition and gave her 9.5 for capacity and 9 for ride-ability, making her total at 845 points.
The happiest athlete in the Young Horse Championship was Bøgegårdens Quintana.
