Fourteen dressage stallions, mostly youngsters, showed gaits in an A-level stallion competition. Tailormade Attention won the class with 9,4 points. Many excelled but there is only one top scorer - Sezuan.
In the first group three new approved four year old stallions with new DWB pride and joy Blue Hors Zatchmo by BH Zack out of Fiestas Girl - the full sister of legendary BH Don Schufro. He received a total score of 9 as all traits were excellent. KWPN-bred Eclectisch under Swedish Caroline Bonde was well behaved and showed clear rhytmical gaits with a lot of promise 8,4 in total points. German Placido Domingo was placed third, 8,4 in total.
KWPN -bred Dream Boy, a black beauty magnificently shown by Geraldine Maree was really easy to rest the eyes on. And he has a sufficiently good walk, excelling in trot and canter with 9,5 he got a total of 9,2. DWB-bred Freezbee-Pari showed a lovely canter, he received 8 in total.
The next group had Sezuan and two other stallions, it is simply unfair for other horses to be compared to the most complete young stallion seen in many years. Touche and Blue Hors Edelman showed very nicely but fade out in comparison as Sezuan has it all - the gaits, the looks and super temperament and rideability. He scored all 10s but for a small 9,5 for walk, a total of 9,9 and the judges concluded on the overall impression; What else could we possibly ask for?
Norwegian Silje Bakken showed the black DWB/SWB-approved Tailormade Attention very eloqently and recieved two tens finishing on a second place with 9,4 in total getting praise for good riding and nice form. The talented Blue Hors Olymbrio will shine in the future - if not in the youngster classes.
