Jessica Kürten takes the Borek Prijs in Den Bosch

Mar 17, 2013

Jessica Kürten and Arezzo VDL (Chin Chin x Heartbreaker) ended on top of the 1.40 speed class in Den Bosch Saturday evening. The stylish Irish rider was fourth to go, and produced an unbeatable round on the eight year old stallion around the eleven fence track – which included two combinations on a line at 5ab (vertical – oxer) and 6ab (oxer – vertical). Their time of 55.94 was no less than 2.09 faster than that of the always fast runner-up Scott Brash on Whisky Mac IV (Emilion x Burggraaf). Third place went to Pius Schwizer on the lovely Oscar du Chanu (Richebourg x Papillon Rouge) at 58.92. Some riders schooled their horses around the track; and Steve Guerdat’s Nino des Buissonnets (Kannan x Narcos II) was one of those that looked absolutely amazing today.
