Mar 22, 2013

After stage three of the BWP Stallion Show, a performance test lasting four days (a day of rest on the third day), 21 stallions were selected. The new generation consists of two dressage stallions and nineteen jumping stallions. Kasanova de la Pomme (Bamako de Muze x Malito de Reves), owned by Joris de Brabander, got the champion ribbon. Vice champion was to Kullen C (Clarence C x Corofino). Kafka van de Heffinck (Calvaro x Diamant de Semilly) was second reserve champion.

Champion Kasanova de la Pomme has an interesting type. “With this BWP stallion we can compete with other countries”, said Joris De Brabander. Kasanova was bred at Haras de la Pomme in France. He has a formidable canter, jumps with lots of technique and is extremely careful. Five stallions presented by De Brabander were successful in the performance test.

Vice champion Kullen was bred at the Spanish Campos Stud. He stands out for its particularly beautiful model. He is chic and had strong movements. Kafka Heffinck jumped eagerly, quick and with fine reflexes .

Five non BWP bred stallions were successful in the third phase. Most notable was the beautiful Charter St Z. Benny Stoffelen presented the Chellano Z-son that failed somewhat in walk, but has a very handsome canter.
