Thrilling showdown in Belgian stallion competition

Mar 22, 2013

In order to win the final ranking of the Belgian Pavo Stallion Competition, one had to be one of the best in the finals. Ut Majeur de Brecey (s. Diamant de Semilly) showed the ultimate round and was the fastest five year-old. Hercules by Immofluisteraar (s. Larino) left the other six year-olds behind him in the jump off and took the first place. In the class for seven-year-olds Gin-Duidam (s. Quidam de Revel) was the fastest with four faults in the last round which earned him the final victory.

The final test for the six year-old was decided in a breathtaking jump off. Hercules by Immofluisteraar and Kristof Deraedt unexpectedly beat Hunters Scendro (s. Scendix) – the thrill of the third phase of the BWP Stallion Show – ridden by Brecht Bille, by a full second.

Four year-olds

Eight stallions maneged to stay clear for five rounds. They came joint first. It concerns Joop 111 (s. Diarado), Breemeersen Just Biscquit (s. Flipper d’Elle), Jilbert van 't Ruytershof (s. Numero Uno), Jes van het Lindenhof (s. Nabab de Rêve), Denzel van het Meulenhof (s. Marius Claudius), Extra Special (s. Andiamo), Hunters Saint Amour II (s. Stakkato) and Javel (s. Mr. Blue).
