Thomas Carlile and Tenareze World Champions

Nov 6, 2014

For the second time in a row Frenchman Thomas Carlile had the World Champion by the seven year old eventers under saddle. Last year he was the best on the Boekelo-winner Sirocco du Gers, now he took the title aboard the Anglo-Arabian Tenareze. Tom McEwen with Toledo de Kerser and Laura Collett with Pamero 4 won the silver and the bronze medal. The Anglo-Arabian Studbook was the best studbook, the KWPN-studbook was second.

Thomas Carlile and the approved stallion Tenareze by Jaguar Mail were clear in cross and showjumping and the pair remained on their dressage score 40,60. Tom McEwen did the same with the Selle Francais Toledo de Kerser (s. Diamant de Semilly), 43,70. Laura Collett and Pamero (a Hannovarian by Perigueux) climbed on the leaderboard from place eleven to third. The overnight third and fourth placed riders Michael Jung and fischerRicona and Maxime Livio with RNH Mc Ustinov had both twelve penalty points and droppped to 25 and 26 place.

Michael Jung’s other ride, fischerTakinou (s. Jaguar Mail) became fourth and Piggy French was placed fifth aboard the KWPN-bred Carpe Diem IV (s. Vittorio) and so the highest place Dutch horse. Together with Cloud Dancer (s. San Remo) on place seven and Ceylor LAN (s. Veron) on tenth, these horses gave the KWPN studbook the silver medal.
