On Saturday the 21st of February at 19.00, the Klatte breeding farm in Lastrup, Klein Roscharden, (the oldest private stud in Germany) will present its performance sires and numerous newcomers. This concludes the marathon of stallion presentations which have taken place over the last few weeks in southern Oldenburg.
Dressage aficionados will be especially pleased to have the chance to see world championship bronze medal-winner of Verden, Dream Boy by Vivaldi-Ferro (Brinkmann stable, Twello), as well as Fiderbach by Fidertanz-Baroncelli, Flawless by Fürstenball-De Niro and Aarhus by Ampere-Jazz, who was approved in Vechta. We are also excited about the prospect of presenting for the first time in Klein Roscharden the dressage stallions from Helgstrand Dressage A/S in Denmark.
During the evening stallion parade the Helgstrand stable will present 7 sires. These include the brilliant champion stallion of the 2013 Oldenburg stallion licensing, Don Deluxe by De Niro-Rosario, as well as the champion 4 year old stallion of Den Bosch, Grand Galaxy Win by Apache-Jazz. Henrik Klatte explains, “we agreed to collaborate with Andreas Helgstrand of Helgstrand Dressage S/A relatively spontaneously and are pleased to be able to offer German breeders these top dressage stallions through our facility and network”.
Showjumping enthusiasts will not be disappointed. Viewers will be presented with 3 approved and awarded up and coming jumpers, namely Twilight from Toulon-Grannus, Chrissikos from Clooney-Landkaiser and the reserve champion of Redefin, Van Halen from Vigo D'Arsouilles-Canturo, who will be loose jumped and shown under saddle. Additionally, the proven sires Cornet's Prinz (reigning German Champion under Guido Klatte jun.), as well as Collado, Chekandino, Thagoras by Toulon-Fedor and the champion stallion of the 4 year olds at the last Oldenburg International Stallion licensing– Chaccato by Chacco Blue-Stakkato will all show their jumping potential over a short course of fences. Niagara D'Elle by Quick Star-Jalisco, already successful in the upper echelons of the sport, will complement the offering of international jumpers, whose fathers and grandfathers are all international champions. Armitage by Argentinus-Grannus, serial producer of international jumping horses and revered veteran of the Klatte stallion station will of course take part and will be presented in-hand.
“We are expecting breeders and horselovers from numerous breeding areas in Germany, and are excited about the combination of the stallion presentation and traditional finale with music and dancing in the marquee”, said Klatte. For those who can't be present in person there is the option to follow the stallion presentation live on screen via Clipmyhorse.
