High quality in 5 year old class Verden

Aug 6, 2015

The World Young Horse Championship five-year-old qualifier for final at Verden was of high quality. 27 horses had a score over 8.0. The Danish-bred Fiontini ridden by Spain’s Severo Jurado won the first qualifying competition. Fiontini is one of two very talented sisters from the Danish breeding. She got a 10 for the trot, 9,8 for canter, 9.7 for submissiveness and a 9.8 for general impression. Only the walk had a 'low' mark, 8.1. She got a total of 9.48. Her full sister Fiontina under Andreas Helgstrand became eighth (8.86). Read about the mares on Ridehesten.com.

Two KWPN-bred horses on the second and third place: Five Star, the KWPN stallion, ridden by Kirsten Brouwer, was placed second on 9.44. Four Legends, another KWPN stallion and ridden by Marieke van der Putten was third on 9.32.
