Action-Breaker retired from the sport

Sep 17, 2015

Sergio Alvarez Moya has decided to retire his fantastic stallion Action-Breaker. The now 15-year-old by Heartbreaker x Lys de Darmen has competed in two World Championships during his career, and at one World Cup Final in addition to being campaigned at international Grand Prix level around the world by Moya.

Unfortunately, Action-Breaker’s career was characterised by breaks and comebacks as much as success. From the summer of 2011 to the summer of 2012, the stallion did not compete due to an injury that took long to heal - which meant missing out on the 2011 Europeans in Madrid. When he returned to the international rings in August 2012, it was not for long and he was out for the entire 2013 before he returned to competition again in 2014 also jumping at the World Championships in Normandy.
