Grand Prix Special for Jeroen Devroe

On Sunday the WDM Grand Prix Special and the WDM NextGen U25 Grand Prix was on the program in Lier. The home crowd in the beautiful facility of Azelhof saw Belgium’s Jeroen Devroe win the Grand Prix Special with his 11-year-old BWP gelding Eres DL (Sir Lui x Balzflug) with a score of 71.020%. Their test was harmonious and correct with good piaffe and passage exercises. They only had mistakes in the two and one tempi and so had second placed Morgan Barbançon Mestre from Spain with Girasol 7 (BAD-WU, Gribaldi x Landioso). Highlight in their test was Girasol’s trot. The combination received 69.349% from the judges. Third place went to Sweden’s Kristian Krusenstierna and Biggles 1015 (SWB, Briar x Krevad) with 68.824% with a consistent and controlled test.
