Bertram Allen grabbed the glory in decisive fashion in Sunday's Grand Prix at the four-star meeting in Stockholm, Sweden. Riding Quiet Easy, with whom he won Saturdaynight’s speed class at the Scandinavian venue, the Wexford rider was one of six to qualify for the jump-off.
Only three combinations managed a second clear, with Allen and Quiet Easy by far the sharpest, the pairing ousting runner-up Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum on Apsara by over two and a half seconds.
