An all Dutch podium in WDM NextGen Freestyle

Young talent Jill Huijbregts won the WDM NextGen Grand Prix Freestyle in Roosendaal with her 11-year-old KWPN gelding Zamacho Z. The combination received eights for their extended walk, flying changes and pirouettes. Jill previously won the WDM NextGen competitions in Munich in May this year. Jill and Zamacho Z received 73.050% from the judges. Jill is sponsored by her family’s company, EventZ, an event organizing agency. Second place went to multiple Dutch Junior and Young Rider Champion Stephanie Kooyman and Winston. She had high scores for the extended trot and canter and the flying changes to end up with 72.550%. Another Dutch rider took third place, Maxime van der Vlist and Bailey 71.550%. Fourth place went to the winner of the WDM NextGen Intermediate II and Grand Prix on the previous days, Britain’s Charlotte Fry with Exquis Clearwater, co-owned and formerly ridden by Anne van Olst. The pair received 71.500%.
