The licensing year of 2014 presented themselves on a spectacular high level at the Westphalian stallion show in Münster-Handorf. 69 stallions were presented, 42 got licensed, and 14 of them got awarded with a premium.
This years winning stallion in dressage was Valverde, a Vitalis-Ampere –son, bred by Reesink horses GmbH in Borken. Together with Andreas Helgstrand, Eugene Reesink was also the exhibitor of the impressively moving brown stallion. In the future he will stand at stud at Helgstrand in Denmark. Breeding director Wilken Treu had only one title for the winning stallion: Luxury! His conformation, physique, expression, as well as his movements deserved this title.
The NRW state stud Warendorf will be the home of the first reserve dressage winning stallion in the future. The Zack-Don Schufro son, who was named Zoom, was also impressed by his complexity. He was exhibited by the Danish stud Blue Hors.
