Who doesn't know him, king of piaffe, Arlando! With Dutch rider Diederik van Silfhout he danced to bronze (World Equestian Games 2014) and gold (European Championship 2015). He also contributed to fourth place at the 2016 Olympic Games. After that, the Paddox-son guided young rider Anna Zibrandtsen to Danish success (silver, European Championship 2017). NOW this famous dressage stallion is available for breeding: a unique opportunity!
Character
Arlando has a limited group of offspring. But his sons and daughters are without exception, excellent sport horses. Just like Arlando, they have flexibility and a very cooperative character. Arlando has never been promoted enormously for breeding as his sporting career had priority. But now you can still use this stallion.
Rideability
The stallion can especially improve rideability. “Arlando is a stallion with a super character. A horse that you have to slow down, not push, ”says Diederik van Silfhout about him. He can add willingness to work and reflexes. He best suits classic mares with stretch in the body. Arlando adds a splash of extra blood through his mother Herlanda ‘ster pref prest’ (Mytens XX x Nurprimus).
Kyando
After his achievements in 2014, Arlando was used more for breeding. This resulted, among other things, in a number of selected stallions. Arlando's son Kyando (ds.Uphill) passed the KWPN performance test with 83.5 points and is a future prospect for the dressage sport. He is with Diederik, who has high expectations of him.
